Many SRA projects in Mumbai are alleged of corruption charges also the slum dwellers are cheated by developers. This led to disputes between the slum dwellers and the developers and therefore the projects are delayed. To have control on such activities SRA has introduced a mobile app ‘Aasara’ for people to get complete understanding of the SRA projects. This will bring transparency, efficiency in SRA projects.

‘After five months of hard work, SRA’s ‘Aasra’ mobile app has been developed. This mobile app will be having detail information of SRA. In the coming week; this app will be available for public.’ – Deepak Kapoor, CEO, SRA

The SRA project of Moreshwar Nagar of DahisarRawalpada has been delayed for last 12 years. Due to this 430 families are homeless as the 3 developers out of 4, have opted out from this project. The app will provide the information such as the rehabilitation plan to be implemented by the developers, the proposal submitted by the developer and licenses including LOI.
