एकनाथ शिंदे यांनी आमदारांना अंधारात ठेवून त्यांना सूरतमध्ये नेल्याचा आरोप आमदार नितीन देशमुख यांनी केला आहे आणि स्वतःच स्वतःची सुटका केल्याचा दावा देशमुखांकडून करण्यात आला. पण हा दावा खोटा आहे असं एकनाथ शिंदे यांच्या गटाकडून म्हटलं गेलं आहे. तर या उलट एकनाथ शिंदे यांच्या शिलेदारांनी सन्मानाने त्यांना अकोल्याला पोहोचवले त्याचे फोटो शेअर करत शिंदे गटाने देशमुखांचा दावा खोटा असल्याचा आरोप केला.
