Reservation issue rose because of migrants – Raj Thackeray

Maharashtra has always been in the forefront in industry sector. Even today, Maharashtra becomes a first choice for business. But Marathi youth do not get jobs in these businesses. MNS President Raj Thackeray has alleged that the issue of reservation has been raised due to the high number of migrants in Maharashtra. He was speaking at the party gathering held in Pune. “Reservation should not be given on the basis of caste but on financial conditions, if Marathi youth will be given a priority in giving the jobs, then reservation will never be needed”, said Raj Thackeray.

Narayan Rane supported Fadnvis

After the Maratha agitation on Wednesday, on the same night CM Fadnavis and Rane had held a meeting at the CM’s bungalow ‘Varsha’. After this meeting, Rane was asked to hold a meeting of the Maratha community leaders. Accordingly, he held a meeting and informed about the same in the press conference on Friday. Rane said, I met Maratha community leaders, we discussed about half an hour. I will put their stand in front of the chief minister.
Rane further said “I am going to request the Chief Minister should take such a stand that it would win the Maratha community’s trust. The agitation that is going on in the state is damaging the state and the Maratha community as well. That’s why I took the initiative to stop this agitation, someone needed to intervene in this matter. So I took an initiative. If the agitation stops, I feel the reservation issue will resolve faster. Rane has appealed to the agitators to maintain peace. He claimed that the state government is capable of giving reservation.
