Rahul Jadhav, an ordinary Rickshaw driver from Pimpari-Chinchwad has inspiring life story. In the city where he used to drive a Rickshaw, he is now a Mayor of the same city. From BJP, he got elected as a Mayor for Pimpari-Chinchwad Corporation.
Rahul Jadhav has studied up to Ninth standard. Since childhood his life was full of struggle. His family was doing farming but it was not a sufficient income source. So Rahul started driving rickshaw to help his family financially. In the years 1997 to 2002, Rahul Jadhav managed to maintain livelihood by rickshaw in Pimpri-Chinchwad area. However, after the restriction on six seater rickshaws in the city, he had to move back to agriculture.
Later when he got married, the financial burden on his shoulder increased. So he left the farming and worked as a driver in a private company. Few years later he joined politics. He got the ticket from MNS in the 2012 corporation elections; he won the election and became the Corporator. Later, he entered in BJP and was known to be the supporter of MLA Mahesh Landge. After the initial struggle in life, he is now a Mayor of Pimpari-Chinchwad.
