A complaint has been filed against the owner of Max Consultancy Company Priyanka Gadkar, who illegally sent Indians to a foreign country for a Job. Without having a Recruitment license the Max Company is cheating with many Indians and sends them to foreign country for jobs. The case has been registered at the Tardeo police station against Gadkar under the Immigration Act. So far about 100 Indian people have gone to abroad for employment by this company and got cheated. The officials said this figure is expected to increase.
The office of Max Consultancy is located in Tardeo area of South Mumbai. Priyanka Gadkar, who owns this company, has sent hundreds of Indians to Russia, Azerbaijan, Australia and Canada in the past few years. However, Indian citizens who went to different countries for employment did not get any job.
As soon these Indians got to know that they got cheated, they immediately rushed to the Indian Embassy in the respective foreign country. The Indian Embassy Office has informed the Ministry of External Affairs of India (MEA) via mail. MEA has then investigated the matter further. The investigation has revealed that the office of the agent who issued Visa for overseas employment is in the Tardeo area in Mumbai. Priyanka Gadkar’s Max Consultancy Company violated the rules of Immigration Act with the help of such agents and sent Indians in Russia, Azerbaijan, Australia and Canada without having a recruitment license. Also without getting ‘Immigration Clearance’, her company sent people to foreign country by giving them Employement Visa, informed Venkatraman Raghavan, Officer of Ministry of External Affairs.
Raghavan informed the Tardeo Police station on August 4 and asked to lodge a complaint. Tardeo Police station investigated the matter and lodged a complaint on August 8. The police have registered a complaint against the owner of Max Consultancy, Priyanka Gadkar under the Immigration Act and also sent her a notice, informed Senior Superintendent of Police Sanjay Surve. The office of Max Consultancy was formerly in the Nagpada Police Station area and now it has been moved in Tardeo area few months ago.
