It has now been cleared that Nallasopara weapon case exposed by the Karnataka ATS has connections with West Bengal. The ATS has arrested one of the major accuse from West Bengal who is said to have direct connection in the case. The ATS has claimed that this accuse had trained the other accuse arrested so far about how to implement the plan. It is learnt that this person will be presented in the court in Mumbai on Wednesday.

After this arrest it is cleared that this case has connections outside the state too. A person, who was arrested from West Bengal, is said to be the known and the prestigious person of that state. ATS has got many clues from this person. In this case, 16 people have been arrested so far across the state and it has been revealed in the Karnataka ATS investigation that more than half of these accused were trained by this person arrested from West Bengal.

About a month and half ago, the ATS had arrested a person named Vaibhav Raut from Nalasopara, ATS seized some weapons, bombs and bomb making materials. This action was taken by the ATS of Karnataka. After the arrest of Raut, Sharad Kalaskar, Sudhna Gondhalekar, Shrikant Pangarkar and Avinash Pawar were also arrested in this case. On September 6, Vasudev Bhagwan Suryavanshi was taken over from Saakali, Jalgaon. On the second day, Vijay alias Bhayya Ukhrudu Lodhi was also arrested from the same village. When ATS took a special drive to investigate that who has trained all these accuse, they got the connections within Maharashtra and also outside Karnataka, which that is West Bengal.

From the three arrested accused the books on how to make the bombs were seized. According to the accused, these books were supplied from West Bengal. When ATS investigate they got to know about this big personality from West Bengal. Later this person also confessed of having active participation in the case. The ATS also seized some documents from him. Among the explosives seized from the arrested accused were 10 pistol making magazines, 1 air gun, 10 pistol barrels, 6 partial ready pistols, 6 pistol, 3 partially ready magazine, 7 partially made pistol slides, 16 relay switches, 6 vehicle number plates, 1 trigger magazine and a steel chopper.

According to information given by the ATS in the court, some explosive materials, 3 mobile, 4 pendrive and two number plates of bikes were recovered from Vijay alias Bhayya Lodhi, who was arrested from Saakali village. On the other hand, 1 DVD and 2 mobile phones were seized from Vasudev Suryavanshi.

Special training in Goa

Vaibhav Raut, Sudhna Gondhalekar, Sharad Kalaskar and Shrikant Pangarkar, who have been arrested for carrying explosives, had been wandering around the country; some of them were given special training in different places. ATS officials told that among these centers the special center is in Goa. The headquarters of the organization for which these accuse worked is also in Goa, officials said.

When contacted ATS chief Atul Chandra Kulkarni by phone call and SMS, he didn’t respond.
