The Kerala distress fund is getting donations from all over the country. The BMC Public Ganesh Festival Coordination Committee has appealed to Ganesh Mandals in the state to help Kerala.

Heavy rains and floods have created havoc in Kerala, although the relief work going on still lakhs of people have been suffered badly. People are homeless and staying with many difficulties in relief camps. To do their bit, during such worst times the ‘Dongaricha Raja’ Ganapati Mandal has decided to contribute by giving the entire money collected in their ‘Donation box’ during the 11 days of festival. After an appeal made by Naresh Dahibawkar, President of BMC Public Ganesh Festival Coordination Committee, the Mandal has taken this decision.
The Kerala distress fund is getting donations from all over the country. The BMC Public Ganesh Festival Coordination Committee has appealed to Ganesh Mandals in the state to help Kerala. After this appeal, the ‘Dongaricha Raja Mandal of Chinchbandar area has decided to donate the money collected in this year’s donation box, Nikhil Gawand, Vice President of the Mandal informed. “Last year, the donation amount was donated to ‘Bharat Ke Veer’ NGO. Along with Dongricha Raja Mandal; Shivsai Mitra Mandal of Bhandup has also decided to donate the amount of donation to flood victims in Kerala, said Mandal’s member Sagar Pawar. Panchganga Public Ganeshotsav Mandal has sent some essential items like biscuits, sanitary pads to Kerala. Abhudaynagar’s Ganesh Mandal has helped 11 thousand 111 rupees. Naigaon’s Vighnharta, GSB Seva Mandal of Matunga, Kalachaukicha MahaGanapati, Tulsivadicha Maharaja, Mumbaicha Raja are some of the other Mandals of Mumbai who have extended their help.

Power Bank to charge mobile

Due to flooding, the electricity supply system in most of the part in Kerala has been destroyed. People here face difficulties to charge their phone. Therefore some devotees have sent Power Bank to charge mobile phones.
