According to the political experts, in the name of Maratha movement, the campaign has been started to remove Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis from his position.

 Devendra Fadnav is lonely

Since the announcement of the Maratha movement, the Chief Minister Fadanvis was speaking alone on this issue. When Maratha protestors opposed the CM to perform traditional rituals in Pandharpur temple, no BJP leader have spoken anything on the matter. Only Chief Minister made his own statement on the matter and put himself in the controversy.  Even during the Mumbai shutdown, agitators blamed CM but no leader from party favored the Chief Minister. When the agitation was going out of control, the cabinet minister Chandrakant Patil took the side of chief minister. This entire scenario clearly depict that Chief Minister is battling alone.

Maratha agitation as a weapon against the CM

According to the political experts, in the name of Maratha movement, the campaign has been started to remove Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis from his position. Both the Congress and BJP’s alliance party in the power Shiv Sena have jumped into the campaign. They have directly blamed the Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis of being responsible for the Maratha agitation. All three parties have grievances for CM, and therefore they are using Maratha agitation as a weapon against the CM to remove him from his position.

CM is first target of the Congress party.

After the appeals made by the Maratha Reservation Action Committee for the main demand of reservation, the Maratha movement has started aggressively in the state. The agitators strongly protested against the government as they delayed the procedure to take the stand on reservation. Agitators opposed the CM to perform any rituals at Pandharpur temple. On this matter, the CM cancelled his visit to the temple over the security of lakhs of devotees comes to Pandharpur. But in doing so, he made offensive comments about the agitators which created violent agitation across Maharashtra. Though being in power together, the Chief Minister does not take Shiv Sena in confidence while implementing any important government decisions. The already upset Shiv Sena with this treatment always tries to target the CM. On Tuesday, senior Sena MLAs Vinayak Raut and Arvind Sawant had made direct allegation that only the Chief Minister was responsible for the agitation. During the Mumbai shutdown on Wednesday, MP Sanjay Raut said that there are possibilities of changing the Chief Minister, there are practices going on his own party BJP. It is now being openly said that the Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray is behind the statements of this three MPs. This shows how insistence is Shiv Sena against the chief minister.  Meanwhile, along with Sena, Congress and NCP also have taken a systematic leap in this campaign against the CM.  NCP chief Sharad Pawar has declared that only CM is responsible for Maratha agitation. The other leaders of the party have also strongly criticized the Chief Minister and tried to support this campaign. Chief Minister Fadnavis was the main leader in defeating Congress in Maharashtra. So the CM is always been the first target of the Congress party.
