Ram Kadam had said controversial statements in the Dahi Handi celebrations on Monday that he would abduct girls and bring them to their rejected suitors and provided his phone number as a helpline. But surprisingly, no leader, spokesman from BJP and Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has protested against Ram Kadam’s statement even after two days. Everyone is keeping mum.

Kadam’s remarks has damaged BJP’s image in the State, the party is receiving strong criticism throughout the state. The Media has also taken BJP left-right on Ram Kadam’s remarks. On the other hand, the social media has also trolled BJP & Kadam very strongly. All political parties except BJP have come out on the streets to agitate against Kadam. BJP has been defamed and trolled very badly on social media like never before. After Kadam’s incident, the Media has also started revising the statements made earlier by the other BJP leaders. State BJP president Raosaheb Danve and Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis were also asked about this matter by the party high command, sources said. Also, if there is no immediate action against Kadam, it will adversely affect the party in upcoming elections. Therefore after the suggestion of Amit Shah, the party has started preparing to remove Kadam as a Spokesperson. Earlier also there were several complaints in the party against Kadam as a Spokesperson that he often goes against the party’s policy and put the BJP in trouble.

Looking at the rising pressure from within the party and outsiders, BJP has taken decision to send show cause notice to Kadam. If Ram Kadam does not give satisfactory answer to this show cause notice then disciplinary action can be initiated. BJP spokesperson’s list includes Madhav Bhandari, along with Madhu Chavan, Keshav Upadhyay, Girish Vyas, Shirish Boralkar, Ganesh Haike, Vishwas Pathak, Shweta Shalini, Suhas Parande, Shripad Mane, Atul Shah, Avadhuta Wagh, Shivrajya Kulkarni, Prashant Bam and Ram Kadam. Now Kadam’s name might be removed from this list.
