The ‘Aaple Sarkar’ web portal started by the Chief Minister Devendra Fadanvis is seems to have completely failed to serve its purpose of helping citizens to resolve their problems and pending work in various government bodies. The portal seems to be ineffective as the portal is filled with lakhs of complaints since it was launched but most of them have not been resolved yet. Most of the complaints are rejected by declaring them false. Now even the citizens also must have forgotten this portal that it was ever launched to resolve their complaints and problems.

As per the Rule number 9 of this web portal announced on 24th August 2016, there is a provision of resolving the complaints that within 21 days. If it fails to solve the problem or complaint in 21 days, then Nodal officers, secretary, police commissioners, district collectors or the high rank officials can be contacted to resolve the issue. But according to the portal’s current situation, it is cleared that the portal has completely failed to resolve complaints not just in 21 day but for years. Even after contacting Nodal officers, citizens did not get any satisfactory result. Every time they visit officers, they used to get the another date and nothing.

It is been said that to prove that the portal is very successful, wrong information is being provided to the Chief Minister’s Office. Therefore there is also a controversy over the numbers of complaints being solved. The information given on the portal on the complaint received and solved looks very bogus as compared to the population of the state. The population of the state is 12 crore whereas the number of complaints received from 387 services of 38 different departments in the state are 5 crore 60 lakh 60 thousand 941. It seems that officials of portal trying to increase the importance of the portal by showing that half of the state’s population registering the complaints on the portal. The portal claims that out of the complaints received, 5 crore 44 lakh 34 thousand 98 complaints have been solved.

I had raised a complaint on portal against the RTO for looting the passenger vehicles. But I haven’t received any solution yet. I want to understand as without taking any action on my complaint, how my complaint is showing to have resolved on portal. This is seems to be some big conspiracy. In this regard, I demanded immediate action against the concerned officer by marking ‘disagreements’ on the portal. However, no action has been taken.

‘Aaple Sarkar’ portal is to resolve the complaint. Our work is only to register complaints and look after technical thing. Other things do not belong to our department.

Many complaints have been filed on Aaple Sarkar portal but not a single complaint is seems to be addressed by the authorities. My complaint number – Dept/SESD/2017/5525 is pending for more than one year. In this I had complained against a private school taking fee illegally by parent, I submitted all the proofs too but nothing has been done yet.
