If we look at the ten important corporations and administrative post that has been given to Shiv Sena leaders, they all have come to Sena from other the political parties. Therefore, there is an outrage among the Shiv Sainik in Mumbai and across the state considering that Shiv Sena has given no importance to its loyal representatives and leader who are working for party since many years.
Uday Samant who had come to Shiv Sena from NCP, Haji Arafat Shaikh came from MNS, the Deputy-Leader Vinod Ghosalkar and Vijay Nahata, Raghunath Kuchik who was appointed as Deputy Leader six months ago and deputy leader Nitin Bangude-Patil who came in the party seven years ago; as all the important corporations post was granted to such leaders who were outsiders and were not in party since long time, many honest and loyal Shivsainiks are highly upset. They have expressed their displeasure to the senior leaders and the coordination chief of Sena. This is likely to result in large outgoing from party in the coming period.
Shiv Sena supremo Uddhav Thackeray is taking rivalry openly against the Prime Minister Narendra Modi almost every day. Two days earlier, the meeting was held at Shivsena Bhavan, where Thackeray again chants the slogan of ‘Ekla chalo’ and ordered to prepare for elections without considering the alliance with BJP. After this meeting, there was so much of enthusiasm in party workers for election preparations. However, after the announcement of these 10 corporations post on Friday, the party’s honest and loyal party workers are highly disappointed.
Uday Samant, who was the Minister of State in the Congress-NCP government, had told the senior Sena leaders that he should not be appointed on any corporation. However, to please him he was appointed as the President of Maharashtra Housing and Area Authority. Vijay Nahata, who was retired as a chartered officer few years ago, has been appointed as the Chairman of Mumbai Slum Reforms Board. This appointment was very shocking as Nahata was responsible for Shiv Sena’s big defeat in the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation elections.
Aurangabad district chief Ambadas Danwe, Hingoli district head Santosh Bangar, former district chief of Solapur Purushottam Berde, Karad former district chief Sanjay Mohite-Patil, and former district chief of Raigad Baban Patil are few names of appointees that could be consider as a genuine appointment.
“Even after taking many legal cases for the party’s agitation, it is very disappointing that party did not consider the loyal party representatives for such posts and give lottery to outsiders,” said one of the Deputy-Leader to ‘My Mahanagar’. Meanwhile, it is hard to understand that on which criteria Vinod Ghosalkar was appointed. A few months ago, Shiv Sena’s woman representative had blamed Ghosalkar for character abuse.
